In our home we have multiple PCs on our network, my wife with her laptop, my 8 year old daughter and then also myself in the office.
One of the easiest ways to share files around those computers and also to increase the overall storage capacity would be a network-attached storage (NAS) drive.

We already have one but are looking to upgrade and here is three that we love:

Buffalo TeraStation Home Server
Buffalo TeraStation Home Server NAS (2TB)
If you want a lot of NAS for not much cash, Buffalo’s TeraStation Home Server NAS is a smash.

Ximeta NetDisk Portable
Ximeta NetDisk Portable (500GB)
If you need fast, basic network storage and backup/restore capability, the Ximeta NetDisk Portable is a good bet which has more storage than most portables we know.

Maxtor Fusion 500GB
Maxtor Fusion 500GB Personal Web Server
The price tag is a bit high but Maxtor is one of the best names in Hard Drives.
The Maxtor Fusion NAS drive makes child’s play of organizing and sharing files remotely.
