Mobile Phone Powered in Purse by Solar Power

This is one hell of a powerful purse and I do not mean by the way it looks, instead we are talking real power the kind that powers electronics.
Imagine putting your mobile phone in your purse and getting it charged while your on the move (well as long as you got tons of sun light), you would never run out of battery life again.
It makes me want one, well my wife would hold it.
The researchers at Iowa State University explored ways to make solar chargers fashionable and the solar powered purse is what they come up with.
Joe Hynek wanted to make something that combines form and function, to make this purse powered by the sun took thin flexible solar cells which were developed by Ames Laboratory researchers.
Their next project involves designing solar-cell products that can be laundered…that should be interesting.
