VOIP from the Pub
If there is one big name in VOIP then it would be “Skype”, they have some of the best tech when it comes to VOIP and that’s why eBay brought them.
Now Skype has just announced four wi-fi phones (from Netgear, SMC, Belkin, and Edgecore) that you can use without a pc with Skype (free calls in your local pub or bar).
Can you imagine your boss ringing you on your Skype phone thinking your at work but really your down the pub (they will not be happy if they found out).
Another cool feature is that these Skype phones will hold all your Skype contacts as well.
All the VOIP phones will be available to buy this quarter with the Edgecore phone being first (by the end of this month) at a price of €199 plus VAT.
