Dialogue Flybook VM My Dream Laptop
I have been looking for a much lighter laptop as a second laptop (my main one is a dell xps).
Now this second laptop has got to be light but also powerful and I think I have just found it, the Dialogue Flybook VM.
The Flybook VM has a cool 12.1in widescreen (1,280×768) which has a hinge mechanism that lets the screen lift up so it looks more like a desktop (but portable).
The specs are not the most powerful, but for its size they are amazing:
Intel ProWireless 3945ABG Wi-Fi adaptor
1.66GHz low-voltage Core Duo processor
512MB to 2GB of DDR 2 memory
1.8in 30GB hard drive
Fingerprint Reader
Integrated VGA Webcam
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth 2.0
Gigabit Ethernet
And a lot more.
Some features that stand out to us are the weight of 1.64kg and size of just 29.2×22.2×2.6cm, and an amazing microphone system that includes multiple microphones set up in such a way to produce superior background-noise reduction.
In Summery: The Dialogue Flybook VM is an ultra portable laptop/notebook that has a lot of power with the Core Duo processor and is great for video calls thanks to the integrated VGA webcam and multiple microphones.
We cannot find anywhere to buy it yet, and do not know when it will be available to buy or for how much (if you know more than us please share a comment below)

I am an authorized dealer for the Flybook and the VM is not available for North American sales yet. It will be available in September but I don’t have any concrete dates yet. I’ll post when I’m able to get some stock in or if pre-ordering gets established. Currently V23i and V33i models are readily available.
