Konica Minolta Throwing in the Towel
By: Daniel Chubb | January 19, 2006![]()
Konica Minolta are another victim of digital cameras as they are throwing in the towel and leaving the whole camera business, and this is just a week after Nikon abandoned the good old film cameras.
It had to happen as everyone starts to move onto the benefits of digital cameras, just like not many of us use VHS any more (things always change).
By this March they are planning on pulling out of the digital camera market and the photo business as a whole by March 2007.
Over this next year do not be surprised to see many more companies pulling out of this same type of business.
