Maxtor Extends Shared Storage Simplicity to Mac Users

On the 10th of Jan 2006 Maxtor Corporation announced that Mac users can benefit from Easy-to-Use Centralized Storage, Media Streaming, Backup and File Sharing thanks to the new Maxtor Shared Storage Plus for Mac Users.

Maxtor are the leader in backup solutions and consumer storage, they will be shipping the new Maxtor Shared Storage Plus solution including Mac OS X version 10.4 “Tiger”.

Mac users will be able to automatically back up computer files, videos, music and digital photos to one central location on a small office or home network.
This enhanced Maxtor Shared Storage Plus device in February will be available worldwide with a price of around $499.95 for the 500GB drive, $399.95 300GB drive and $299.95 for the 200GB drive.
