Pioneer BDP-HD1 Blu-Ray Player

They are many Blu-ray players about to hit us, but currently the best we have seen is the Pioneer BDP-HD1 because of its features.
The BDP-HD1 is going to cost around $1,800/£1000 which is about 4x the Toshiba HD-DVD player and that should tell you two things, you will need more money for the blue-ray and that the BDP-HD1 is a lot better as you will get what you pay for.
We feel Blu-ray is going to have much more staying power; features of Pioneer’s BDP-HD1 include support for Dolby Digital, DTS-HD and DTS, 1080p video upconvert and 1080p output.
We love the HDMI option as it gives an easy one-cable hookup, but what’s even better about this Blue-ray player is its ability to network with a PC running Windows Media Connect or any DLNA-compliant server…cool.
