Skype NETGEAR WiFi Phone (World’s First No PC Needed)

The NETGEAR Wi-Fi phone will change the world of VOIP phones – traditional VOIP phones have to be connected to a PC, but with a Wi-Fi VOIP phone you can use it whenever you are connected to an internet access point and that can be at your office, home or even a café or hotspot.
Having brought a Linksys VOIP phone I know it can be a pain to have to keep my computer on to use it, do not get me wrong it is a great phone, but imagine a wifi VoIP phone that can be used anywhere you can connect to a wireless network…fantastic.
The Skype experience will remain the same great voice quality, free phone calls anywhere in the world without using a PC.

The NETGEAR Wi-Fi phone will be pre-loaded with Skype’s software and unlike a lot of products these days it will be ready out-of-the-box to use with a wireless network, just turn it on and enter your Skype username and password, your full contact list will display.
