Yamaha YSP-1 Multi-channel Surround from a Single Component

Broadband delivered via electricity has not taken the world by storm but the technology is very good and exists and in summer 2006 Yamaha will take full advantage of it with the world’s first system that will stream video and audio through your home using your electricity network and will be much faster than Wi-Fi.
Your power-line network already in your home will let you stream 5.1 surround and video to the Yamaha speakers such as the Yamaha YSP-1 which gives you Multi-channel surround sound from a Single Component.
It will not lose detail or glitch out and will give you a sleek and unencumbered room, another cool feature is the TV Equal Volume mode which helps prevent sudden bursts of loud sound like when watching TV and the adverts come on and are always louder…always a pain but not anymore.
The Yamaha YSP1 is compatible with the Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital, and DTS Neo: 6 and sound formats.
