Do you own a laptop and want Faster and Meaner Memory, then check out Kingston’s release of its first mobile specific memory modules (PC2-6400 DDR2 667-MHz).
For only $62/£36 you can buy the Kingston 667-MHz DDR2 unbuffered SO-DIMM ValueRAM memory at 256mb, with up to 1GB of memory will set you back $176/£102.
The only problem at the moment is that this new memory is only supported by the ATi Xpress 200M chipset at present, and there are not a lot of laptops with that chipset.
If you do try and run it in your machine you will be looking at issues with over clocking (Not Recommended)
Features
1.8 Volts operation, reducing power consumption by about 50 percent compared to DDR.
Tested at 667-Mhz for optimal performance
