Sharp 32P50E LCD TV

This the Sharp 32P50E LCD TV, now lets get one thing straight first of all and that’s that I love Hi-Def and think HDTV is the best for the future, but after seeing what the 32P50E does with pal TV is very interesting.
The Sharp 32P50E has made a breakthrough in picture quality, great if you live in Europe, but not much good if you do not, as what Sharp have done is optimised this LCD TV for Europe and PAL broadcasts (the first and only LCD TV range to-do this).
This TV cements Sharp’s reputation for making great LCD’s, this display will not take full advantage of HD video, but it does support it.
One thing that I look for in a new TV is making sure it has a Freeview tuner, but sadly this screen does not have one (all depends how you watch TV).
In Summery: Fantastic picture for standard LCD TV’s, but I cannot get my head around at why I would want this and not a HD ready TV.
