Maxell is Going Holographic

Many of you know that there is a war between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD Technologies without any true winner of yet.
Now there is something new as InPhase and Maxell are coming out with some cool tech that uses holographics (you can read a lot more on this at Inphase Technologies)
If you do not want to read too much into it, then basically it means this new technology can give you up to 1.6TB with data transfers at 120MBps.
This is BIG and could leave you with a question like Why do I need a hard drive? When all you need is one holographics disk.
Sadly you will not see much happening before 2007
