This pocket pc has great wireless connectivity and is small and thin – two very important features of a pc for your pocket.
The Dell AXIM X30 has a fast 624MHz processor and runs Windows Mobile 2003 SE, with both Bluetooth and integrated Wi-Fi.
There is not much we can say badly about this PDA, but if we were picky then the uncomfortable stylus and a basic software bundle would be cons.
Are PDAs a dying breed? With Sony pulling its Clié from everywhere but Japan, and with Toshiba stop selling its Pocket PCs in the US, what’s happing to the PDA.
This may be somewhat to-do with consumers preferring dedicated solutions, such as the iPod and Tom Tom Go.
On the plus side the nearest competitor to the Dell AXIM X30 is the HP iPaq 4159, but the X30 is much better as it has a faster processor and more memory.
