Microsoft Optical Desktop Keyboard & Mouse with Fingerprint Reader

This is the Microsoft Optical Desktop with a keyboard, mouse and a fingerprint reader. This is the first fingerprint reader keyboard we have reviewed and we asked our self’s (Why have we waited to get one?).
The keyboard has a lot more than a basic keyboard like 5 favourites buttons which we used for 5 websites we use a lot, also volume buttons, media keys for music and video, other buttons include calculator, log off, sleep, messenger, web/home, mail, my music, my pictures, my documents.
The main feature for this keyboard is the fingerprint reader, the first we have tried and it’s great. It was very easy to set up and we just scanned our index fingers on both hands to start, then I set the computer to log on only with my with a fingerprint, also I set some web sites to use my fingerprint to log on to them which is easy to do as you just put your finger on the reader when your on a password protected page and then choose which boxes to fill in on the page (next time you come to that website just put your finger on the reader and it logs you in).
The keyboard is USB - 4 PIN USB Type A and the mouse features wireless and Tilt Wheel technology.
In summery - This Microsoft Keyboard and mouse is basic compared to many others, the keyboard is wired and the wireless mouse is basic with not many buttons, but it will suit most people who just want a setup that’s mid range with fingerprint security.
Tip - We looked around and found that the (Microsoft Optical Desktop Keyboard & Mouse with Fingerprint Reader) was £80 to £100 in local shops like Comet & Staples, but online we found it as low as £43.36
